Industry Application | Vacuum Booster Assembly Line

The vacuum booster is a component that uses vacuum (negative pressure) to increase the force applied by the driver on the pedal. It consists of about 20 parts, including the front and rear housings and the valve body. Challenges of the vacuum booster production line

Due to the varying sizes of vacuum boosters and master cylinder diameters for different vehicle models, as well as differences in the direction of the oil filling port and overall length, there are many discrepancies in the assembly components of the booster under the influence of various factors. Therefore, ensuring the stability of multiple vacuum tightness tests, output force curve tests, and stroke tests on the line, as well as production efficiency, is a significant challenge when accommodating multiple vehicle models.


  Characteristics of the assembly line

By using modern robotics, labor costs have been significantly reduced; the use of press-matching stroke detection assembly technology has improved the consistency and stability of the booster characteristic curve, reducing the rework rate caused by poor product characteristics; through clever design utilizing servo lifting mechanisms, vacuum technology at the master cylinder port, and universal sealing technology, the compatibility of the booster has changed, resulting in higher compatibility, stability, and efficiency of the assembly line.

Results

We have designed, manufactured, installed, and debugged vacuum booster assembly lines according to customer requirements, featuring high output, low labor, and stable product quality, as well as higher compatibility, fully meeting customer production needs. Currently, Beijing Smart Technology Co., Ltd. has successfully delivered several vacuum booster assembly lines and will continue to improve research and development in line with customer needs, looking forward to multi-faceted cooperation with more industry clients.
